Account Associate

HOURS: 20-29 hours weekly. with potential for full time in the future.

LOCATION: On Site at our Holland Office

 

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Account Associate is responsible for handling several administrative tasks supporting the Account Managers as well as sharing front desk coverage responsibilities.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Perform clerical support duties such as learning and working with various insurance and agency platforms.

  • Build, Support, and maintain online benefits technology (Ease/ Employee Navigator)

  • Open Enrollment Processing & Audits

  • Supporting Account Managers and Agents by performing administrative tasks as needed.

  • Work alongside agency staff to carry out the company’s mission and core values.

  • Assists with other responsibilities and duties as needed.

  • When at the front desk: Answer and direct all incoming calls in a courteous, enthusiastic, and positive manner. Cordially greet clients and visitors, answer questions, and provide information.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required

  • Prior experience in an office environment desirable.

 

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: 

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable with web-based technology solutions and changing technology requirements

  • Detail oriented

  • Comfortable with multi-line phone system

  • Excellent phone etiquette

  • Knowledge of AgencyBloc, Ease, and Employee Navigator a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse individuals

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Positive attitude

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity

  • Self-motivated with ability to work well independently and under direction

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess and maintain a valid Michigan driver's license
